Dogs Rule!

Dogs Rule Day is October 10. I personally know some dogs who rule! Thank you Abby, Buddy, Buffy, Coca, Daisy, Elvis, Gage, Heidi,Holly, Jack, Luke, Maggie, Missy, Poochie, Sparky, Wally....I hope I didn't leave anyone out. You are and were all good and loyal friends. You deserve your special day.
Here are some things you can do to let your dog know how special he/she is:
(the list came from dogsruleday.com website)

Give her the other half of your sandwich. Just this once.
No baths. None.
If you have a Border Collie, pretend to be a sheep.
Get him a new collar.
Hire a bus. Allow her to catch it.
Film him and make him an internet star.
Bark with her at the postman.
Go to a new dog park this time.
No vacuum cleaning.
Take him to work with you.
Let him scratch to his heart's delight.
Give him his own web site.
Ask the cat to be nice, just for the day. (Even though the cat won't listen…)
Go for a drive. Or ten.
Keep the car windows open. Even if it's raining.
Make her a photo album.
Take him to visit his friends.
Donate some blankets to your local shelter.
Get a professional photo taken.
Install a doggie door.
Take her to the beach.
Wash his favorite blanket.
One word: bones.
Scratch that special place behind her ear.
Help him destroy the garden.
Sing him a song. Maybe wear a costume.
No vets, not today.
Post flyers for the local dog shelter.
Breakfast in dog-bed.
Let him eat at the dinner table.
Give up your favorite chair.
Buy her a new leash.
Let her gnaw your favorite pair of shoes.
Organize or support a dog adoption drive.
Get a tattoo of him.
Give her one treat every hour, all day long.
Get her a fire hydrant.
Dress up like the postman.
Organize a picnic to benefit shelter dogs.
Let him win at tug-of-war

Yay! What a great blog! I hate that I can't be with my dogs on Dogs Rule Day! Those ideas were so cute though! Give Maggie and Gage my love! :)
